Director of Family Ministries
The Director of Family Ministries is someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, who is mature in their faith, is actively growing as a disciple of Jesus, and a team leader who builds up the people around them for the Glory of God.
The Director of Family Ministries works in conjunction with the Senior Pastor, staff, and volunteers to further the overall ministry of the church by providing leadership to our children, adults, and family ministries; including planning, scheduling, and implementing programs that educate, disciple, and provides relationship building opportunities for all ages.
The director serves as the staff liaison to the Education Committee, coordinates with the education team and encourages volunteers and parents to provide fellowship and faith building activities for our students.
Leads all facets of our family ministries which includes children and adult education programs, Sunday school, Youth Ministry, Vacation Bible School, After School Program, and Small Groups.
Develops and coordinates inter-generational social activities or events.
The Director is responsible to and supervised by the Lead Pastor and Staff/Parish Relations Committee
Must be experienced with event planning, budget management, program development and implementation, and working with volunteers.
Must be able to identify issues, use discretion, maintain boundaries and confidentiality.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills along with interpersonal skills across an intergenerational community.
Must be able to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and adhere to church policies and procedures.
The following background checks must be obtained: Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, DHS Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI Criminal History. Must complete Safe Sanctuary/Ministry Safe training.
ATTENDANCE
Required to work every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Remaining hours will be flexible and must work onsite.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Formal education is not a predetermining factor for the selection of this position. However, it is likely that a candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Salary: $40,000.00 per year

Director of Contemporary Worship
The Director of Contemporary Worship works in conjunction with the Senior Pastor, Praise Team, and volunteers to further the overall ministry of the church by providing leadership for the contemporary worship ministry; including planning, scheduling, and implementing a contemporary worship service that connects with worshippers, promotes authentic worship, and proclaims the message of the Gospel.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· Proficiency in planning, preparing, and leading worship services.
· A heart to lead people in worship and not just lead a worship service.
· Demonstrates a strong vocal ability and engaging stage presence.
· Capability of leading with a keyboard is a plus.
· Display a strong educational background in music, evidenced by competence in interpreting and conveying basic musical premises (e.g., rhythm, tempo, dynamics, lyrical intent, etc.), as they relate to the effective learning and presentation of sacred musical selections in the contemporary worship setting.
· Display strong competence as a musical leader, both in rehearsal and in worship performance.
· Demonstrates abilities in teaching music and leading persons with varying musical backgrounds and skill levels.
· Display personal abilities that provide for encouragement and motivation of adults and children in contemporary praise and worship.
· Demonstrate a commitment to ministry and growth using God-given musical, speaking and leadership abilities and recognizing and nurturing these abilities in others.
· Demonstrate a good working knowledge of contemporary music and its use within the worship setting.
· Demonstrate the ability to plan and execute a contemporary worship service that uses music and the spoken word, in a complementary fashion, to lift worshippers into a truly spiritual experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00 per hour
